September 6th - Opening night

Bring along your prints and digital images taken on our 2010 annual outing. A trophy and prize will be awarded for the best image taken on the outing. After the interval all are welcome to show their work.
Friends and prospective new members are welcome to join us for an informal evening.

September 20th - Top class nature photography by multi award winning photographer Ben Hall

Last date for members to bring prints and images for the NEMPF 2011 Annual Exhibition. As well as our individual entries, the selection committee will chose images to represent the club.

October 4th - 1st leg of the bi monthly competition

October 25th - Peter Yeo FRPS, DPAGB, APAGB

Peter will give us a print show entitled “Here there and everywhere”. Peter is one of the country’s top photographers and is a Fotospeed sponsored lecturer.

November 1st - Members Practical Night

Jim Edmondson and Ian Daisley will run practical demonstrations on portaiture, printing and mounting, with professional models Daisy Donahue and Lauren Edwards. Remember your camera.

November 15th - Renowned photographer Colin New

Colin will present his lecture “Going South”, including prints of Antarctica, South Georgia and the Falklands

November 29th 2nd leg of the bi monthly competition

December 6th - Irene Froy. FRPS, EFIAP, MPAGB, Hon PAGB, BPE4

Irene will present her print lecture “The Two of us (The farewell tour)”. Irene is an exceptional photographer and is a Permajet sponsored lecturer.

December 20th - Christmas party

The entertainment starts with a short presentation and our annual quiz. This is followed by our usual excellent buffet supper. Members and invited guests only.

2011

The annual NEMPF Exhibition will be at the Mansfield Museum and Art Gallery from January 8th to February 5th. from 10 am to 5 pm. The official opening and presentation of awards will be on Saturday, January 8th.

January 17th - Members practical night

Ian Daisley will give us a workshop on “Getting the most from your digital camera”.

January 31st - 3rd leg of the bi monthly competition. Judge, Bill Hall DPAGB,AFIAP,BPE5*

February 7th - Guy Brown. DPAGB FRPS

Guy will give us an HDR tutorial and print presentation of his stunning FRPS panel (Inside the Abbeydale Picture House) and other images.

February 21st - Members night

A chance to showcase your best images and techniques.

March 7th - Theme competition. “Elements”

The images submitted must have been taken after 26th April 2010, the date of the last AGM. Judge, Ray Brightman, FRPS, DPAGB, HonPAGB, AFIAP.

March 21st - NEMPF Annual Exhibition 2011

Digital presentation with commentary and music.
A chance to see some of the best work in the region.

March 28th - 3 way club competition between Bakewell, Matlock and Ashbourne

April 4th - Annual competition

April 18th - 69th Annual General Meeting
