Monday 5th September - Opening Night

Welcome to the new season. Please bring along your prints and digital images taken on our 2011 annual outing to Conwy. A trophy and prize will be awarded for the best image taken on the trip.
After the interval anyone can show their work.
Friends and prospective new members are all welcome.

Monday 19th September - Dianne Owen FRPS

Creative Consciousness – Dianne will show a mix of creative prints in colour and mono, covering a wide range of subjects and themes, including many accepted exhibition prints. During the talk some images will be passed around for discussion.

Guy will show us his stunning High Dynamic Range prints and digitally projected images.

Monday 31st October - Members Practical Night

Jim Edmundson and Les Nixon will be running workshops on Portraiture and Architectural Photography. Remember to bring your camera.

Monday 7th November - Bill Hall DPAGB, AFIAP,BPE5*

Arches to Zion.
Well known to the club as a judge, Bill returns to show us his images of the south-west USA.

Monday 21st November - 2nd Leg of the Bi-Monthly competition.

Monday 5th December - Dr. Dave Butcher ARPS

Peak Light – Monochrome split grade darkroom prints.
The lecture starts in Bavaria with the fairy tale castle that Walt Disney based his logo on, then to the Italian Dolomites ,followed by Peak District National Park, San Francisco and New York, finishing with a large selection from Yosemite National Park.

Monday 19th December - Merry Christmas

Christmas party. The entertainment starts with a short presentation and our annual quiz. This is followed by our usual excellent buffet supper. Members and invited guests are welcome.

The annual NEMPF Exhibition will be held during January and early February. Dates and venue to be announced.

Ian Daisley will give us the second of his “How to get the most out of your camera” interactive talks. Remember to bring your camera along.

Monday 6th February Karen Frenkel

Peak Landscape and Light. Well known professional photographer, Karen Frenkel, will give us her digital slide show on the Peak District. She will also be bringing along books and calendars to sell.

Monday 20th February - Members Practical Night

Jim Edmondson and the Thursday digital imaging group will be demonstrating some of the latest techniques. After this there will be time for members to show their own images.
