Zoom Lecture 7.30pm. Chris Upton: "Thoresby, the End of the Mine"

Thoresby Colliery in Nottinghamshire closed in July 2015, bringing to an end 900 years of mining in the county.
Chris says this presentation is a great example of 'how to shoot a project'.
Based in Nottingham, Chris specialises in Travel, Landscape and Social Documentary.

Digital Bimonthly Competition Leg 1

Two categories: Mono and Colour. Maximum of two digital images per category. Re-sizing of your images will not be necessary. Members to judge via email prior to the night. Invitations will be sent to members immediately after the Sept 7th meeting. Details on how and when everyone's images will be circulated to each member, and how the voting will be done will be sent out asap.

Member's Night: Shared Images.

PDI images to be emailed to Brian Jewsbury before the night. Images will be hosted on Zoom and member's comments made as an interactive evening.

David Keep ARPS, DPAGB, ABPE, AFIAP is based in Chesterfield. He has won countless awards, especially for his underwater work. He runs workshops and lectures.
